Poblanos cuisine of Chattanooga, TN is proud to announce that Chef and young entrepreneur Adrian De la Torre has chosen Chattanooga as his new home. As a new owner and executive chef, all of Adrian’s dreams have come true.
He was born in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. After growing up in Mexico surrounded by family and friends, he diced to move to Atlanta, GA where he discovered his love and passion for cooking food. He started at the bottom washing dishes, prepping food, but quickly showed a talent for cooking. Training under some very talented chefs. He began climbing the ranks from prep cook to sous chef to finally Executive chef managing all kitchen operations of a $4 million a year restaurant.
Adrian developed his first menu at the age of 22 trying to make the best Mexican food dishes around the area. Like most chefs with ambition, Adrian dreamed of owning his own restaurant where he can let his imagination go in whatever direction it wanted. After meeting the building owner he knew that Poblanos Mexican Cuisine needed to be saved. After remodeling and bringing new menus and new dishes he decided to re-opened and remodel Poblanos Mexican Cuisine.
